#MovingCan campaign launches to help people in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire to improve their health and wellbeing
BOB STP is pleased to be supporting the #MovingCan campaign which launches on 1 August, as part of our prevention work programme, which supports people to make and maintain positive lifestyle behaviour.
“There are five areas that we will be focussing on, under our prevention programme to help improve health and well-being in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire: alcohol, smoking, physical inactivity, obesity and mental wellbeing with a focus on ‘making every contact count’.
“We are delighted to support the #MovingCan campaign as it provides everyone who lives and works in the BOB STP area with easy actions they can take to make positive lifestyle changes” says Katie Summers Chief Information Officer – Berkshire West CCG and Prevention Lead for BOB STP.
The 31-day campaign will highlight a different benefit of being active each day, to help people look at ways in which they incorporate being active into their everyday lives.
The campaign has been developed by Get Berkshire Active.
