The Covid-19 Fact Check, the vaccine is free of charge and the NHS will never ask for bank details

There are a number of different ways you could be vaccinated:

  • GP led Local Vaccination Centres (run by local GPs). GPs are also delivering the vaccine directly to care home residents and staff.
  • Pharmacy Sites
  • National Mass Vaccination Sites
  • Hospital sites for health and social care staff

Vaccination sites across Oxfordshire

21 local vaccination centres are in operation across the county. The centres are run by GP-led primary care networks (PCNs), which are groups of GP practices located in the same area working together. Different types of venues are being used for the vaccination sites, from GP surgeries to community venues.

Each PCN group uses one vaccination centre. This means that patients may have to travel to a neighbouring town or village to receive their vaccination. Patients will be contacted directly by their GP surgery when the vaccine is available for them, with details of how to book and where to go.
